This is the team that takes all of our players after their prime. They play for us when they’re good, then they head to that ####hole to finish their careers off. Imagine doing that
I was once stuck at the Denver airport for 3 hours because a drunk stewardess directed us to the wrong gate and we missed our flight to LA and then had to spend another hour and a half coming back. That alone is enough to fuel a dislike for Colorado.
yeah my only night in the Denver airport we were stranded there because the United pilots forgot their iPAD needed to fly the play (ok I know this isn't the United = NG thread but anyways...)...and because 'reasons' (which I think included some obscure convention and a Broncos preseason game) there were zero hotel rooms in Denver for the night. no amount of Fat Tire beer could have made that night good

actually quite a list of players with ties to both organizations...
Iggy, Fleury, Tanguay, Drury, Morris, D Bouchard, Nolan, Regehr, Yelle, Simon, T Hunter, Leopold, Tonelli
.....Kobasew, Reinprecht, Hislop, Corbet, DAVID JONES, Sarich etc
I assume a CGY/AVES fusion team would be one of the stronger ones (Blues I would guess being most noteable)

I just asked my mom and she's pretty sure it was United we flew on too.
It was our first time flying in like 20 years so we trusted that the crew would be able to give us proper guidance. And not only did the stewardess screw up but when we got to our gate my dad and brother-in-law went up to the desk to make sure we were at the proper gate and they said we were.

Ok I have to ask. Why are you asking flight attendants where the gate is and not looking at the screens they have posted everywhere?
I realize this is the Denver bashing thread so maybe I just shouldn't ask. Although I do kind of like their airport.
