Earlier this morning before the playoff tickets/prices were released, I saw press level stubhub tickets for around $110 CDN, fees included.

It is a moot point now, but if I bought those tickets at $110 CDN, would the STH essentially be stuck with a $24 loss since the face value prices for press level are $134?

If the STH was selling their actual seats they will not get crushed. I have seats in 223 and bought a ticket of TM today in 224 and it was more than double my STH price

Don't the re-sellers operate dozens of season ticket accounts? The flames just validated resellers sale prices of double+ what they pay for them.

Wow, if this is the cost of 1st round what would be the cost of (hypothetical) 3rd or Finals? I may fly in for them...

Back in 2004 I paid under $800 total/seat for all playoff home games (12 games?) in the Green section. I did have to buy a game pack for next season. Now its $159 for one game in the first round. I think I will watch from home unless I get tickets from a friend.

Also with this pricing there is almost guaranteed to have barely any opposition fans from the States coming to our home games!

..and Jets fans can't afford it! suckers!

Remember you guys are comparing with prices 15 years ago.

How much was a McDonald's combo back then? $4.99? $5.99? How much is it now - $9.99 I think.

So while I think playoff ticket prices are bit on the expensive side, they are not outrageously gross.

I have season tickets so am unaffected. That said, I think the face value prices are outrageously gross.

There are no good tickets left in Blue, Green or PL for the pre-sale

I saw the prices and backed the hell out. Glad to have my season seats for the playoffs and I'll leave it at that. Those prices are right crazy.

Can you confirm that PL tickets cost about $230ish per seat? I was telling people at work, but they didn't believe me. I forgot my glasses at home too so I might have misread...

Ticketmaster buggered them up for a few minutes. They're actually $134 plus fees.

Are you still seeing that now, or is that from when you purchased?
