Just one minor edit...the Scabs have played 81 games, and their chances are slim. They have the Leafs left on Saturday, while CBJ has the Rangers and Ottawa.

Montreal must hold the 8th spot outright to qualify; CBJ holds the ROW tiebreaker. What a shame, it will really break my friggin' heart to see Montreal OUT

I think CBJ will give us the best hockey vs TBL. Habs would literally get decimated.

They played them pretty tough the other day and beat them. Price is out of his mind right now. Kucherov played 22 minutes and was held of the scoresheet. The only big player that wasn't in the lineup was Hedman.

Montreal is a fantastic place to be during the playoffs.
I really hope they make it

Montreal also plays with an edge and would be a real handful in the playoffs.

That's it, the eastern conf. standings are final. It's going to be a hell of a playoff. Can't wait!

I think this is the perfect outcome and will lead to some pretty good 2nd round matchups.

CBJ should at least give TBL a bit of a matchup (better than CAR would have), but I think CAR/WAS will be a pretty good matchup as well.

BOS/TOR will be heated and competitive as always, and even PIT/NYI should be decent.
