How about thay goal from Frolik!? And the head first block by Hanifin? Really impressive stuff.

BJs were desperate in the third and made some plays. Tough luck on those posts.

Was wondering if Duchene even played for them until he became very noticable in the third.

Tough, ugly win against a very determined team tonight. Good job, Flames! You just knew the Jackets were gonna pour it on in the 3rd, but luckily that late PK and the hit on Backlund turned the momentum a little bit and gave the Flames some extra juice.

Rittich was outstanding tonight. He looked a bit shaky when the Jackets hit those 2 posts in the 1st period, but he really locked it down in the 2nd and 3rd. There's no doubt in my mind who should be starting come puck drop in round 1.

I hope in the playoffs the team down in the series isn't going to get a free pass for stretches to help "manage" the series.

Hopefully that dies at game 82.

That's one word for it. Here is another: AWESOME. This was the best game Rittich has played since January, and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Big Save Dave true to his name tonight.
Did Lazar or Quine play at all in the 3rd? Pleasantly surprised at Ryan filling in on the 1st line and doing pretty well.

Nice to see another win. In great shape down the stretch.

NHL reffing is ridiculous though. How do you logically justify putting the whistles away because it is later in the season. Cheap shot artists like Anderson run amuck when the refs let everything go.

Weighted odds have us at 85% to win the conference
50/50 odds have us at 74% to win the conference

Habs fans losing their #### at the refs in this game too...well the ones I know anyway

even worse from their standpoint, trying to hand CBJ a point or two

Getting the Yotes in round one is honestly a best case scenario for the Flames, and is looking like the more likely outcome at this point.

Season continues to delight.
