Must be embarrassing for mcdavid. It's like he saw this all play out in his head that epic sad face reaction from that draft lottery.

I know that it is said often as an exaggeration, but this game really is like watching an AHL team struggling with a NHL team. This is some of the worst hockey I have seen.

I don't agree that he is preventing the goalie from moving freely - not at all.

He is fully in the crease, but that hasn't been called for years. The call, in the recent NHL, is about obstructing the goalie's ability to react to the puck. And that didn't happen here at all.

I hope Tavares scores a hat trick tonight and another one when he returns to the Island. Why? Because I think it would be funny.

My gawd Remenda is an idiot. Trying to make a case for a tripping call when Kassian, the big goof, trips and falls on Burns stick but the stick wasn’t even in Burns hands. He’d dropped it earlier on the shift.

Nice that the oilers are back to their old no good selves.

They kind of look like they are done playing, and happy to just skate around and let the Oilers run frantic and pointless low-percentage plays.

Will Hitch say the Oil have played 55 good minutes in the post game presser?

Have to say, I thought they may have turned a corner under Hitch. Nope. Turned out it was the same old Oilers, just a lot more boring and getting unsustainable goaltending for a spell.

The important lesson to be learned here is that the Oilers do not turn corners.

On cue: Gene Principe wants to know from Barklay Goodrow what the Sharks can possibly do to contain Connor McDavid.

Hopefully the Oilers do not completely implode. I do not want them anywhere near the top of the draft lottery.

If they do implode that would be pretty awesome to see as well. I'm torn.

It just does not matter. It's been over a decade. The Oilers are hopeless.

As soon as they win a couple in a row, Oil fans will be pounding their chests again, and obnoxiously chirping anyone within earshot.
