Big time, I guess he can quit working on his coach of the year speech.
What . . . giving a line a clever name didn't keep the win streak going?
Oh and you're strategy of starting Koskinen or whatever his name is? That's over now.
The Oilers were winning on the back of a hot goaltender, but they're still a bottom third of the league lineup.
And The Canucks blow by them.

I love it when McDavid gets the second star.
No more information is required to know that Edmonton lost.

He honestly might be their 4th best forward...
Wow, that is a sad statement to write out.

At the end of the day, as much as Oiler fans want to blame goaltending in that game, there wasn't much he could do, the Oilers defensive game was lazy and dreadful.
How many days until Hitch realizes that he's not coming back and starts smoking behind the bench.

Found it kinda funny that currently the standings on NHL.com show
28. Arizona
29. Chicago
30. NJD
31. Kings
and that's your reverse order for the final 3/4 teams in the 2012 Cup year.
Crazy how 7 years can change so much.

The good news on this OOT had the Stars defeating the Predators 2-0 in Nashville. Khudobin was awesome in net with the 49 save SHUTOUT! The Stars get even strength goals and good PK at 3/3.
The Canucks laying the boom on the Oilers espcially in the 1st period was nice to see and the Oilers lose another one at home. Okay everyone, take a shower now after cheering on the Canucks.
The bad news on the OOT had the Sharks beating the Ducks 4-2, but, at least it wasn't a 3 point game. Brent Burns scored the GWG midway through the 3rd period in his 1000th career game. Goodrow with 3 assists. It's the Ducks 4th loss in a row and now Gibson is injured. Chad Johnson took over at the start of the 2nd period and gets tagged with the loss. The Sharks stay 2 points back of the Flames for 2nd place in the western conf.
The Knights beat the Avs 2-1 in reg time. The win puts the Knights 3 points back of the Flames. Pirri scored the GWG midway through the 3rd period. Good goaltending dual between Fleury (31 saves) and Grubauer (41 saves).
The Bhawks with an impressive game beating the Wild 5-2. Their new goalie Collin Dellia makes 46 saves, Kane with a hat trick, and Saad scored 2 goals. Wow.
