Looks like Vegas and Anaheim are waking up.

Flames need to keep chugging along.

Yup. As long as the Flames continue to take care of their own business, they'll be just fine. It's gonna be a hell of a battle for the division though. Looks like it'll be Calgary, Anaheim, SJ, and Vegas all fighting it out for the top 3 spots now. It's crazy how tight things are.

We have two crucial games coming up here.

OT loss to Dallas may be a blessing in disguise. Sudden reminder that nothing comes for free in this league just in time for two Pacific opponents.

All wrapped in the softer padding of the Loser Point. Pisses you off when others get it, yet thank the Hockey Gods for its existence when you do.

I didn't mind the OTL against the tired team from outside the division if it means they clean up against the next couple opponents. Last season's team would not have stolen a point if they didn't come out inspired.

Although I don't like that 3+ days off makes us a bit complacent. But I'm going to chalk it up to a stamps grey cup celly hangover since both clubs seem heavily invested in each other so it probably was a distraction.
