A furious Rittich on the ruling there was no goalie interference on the winning goal. “Maybe next time I will lie on the ice for half an hour.”

That was the worst the Flames have played in quite a while. Horrible on face-offs, sloppy passing, shooting into shinpads, and an overall lack of intensity.
It happens. Fortunate to get a point.

Meh at least we got the point Benn and Seguin always seem to beat us.
Not when Ruff was the coach. Once Hitch took over, they finally figured out how to own us and the Stars have never looked back since. And Hitch's teams usually beat the Flames. Man I'll never forget the night Frolik netted a hat trick to defeat Hitch's St. Louis Blues, which was our first win against them in forever. Point is, Hitch seems to have the perfect formula to defeat Calgary in any circumstance possible. And the next time we play Edmonton, it might be the Oilers who owned us seven straight times from October 2016 to January 2018.
But really, Dallas owning us is surprising to me. It's like we play like like they're the Ducks.
Didn’t really deserve a point after a terrible first and second. The stick catching on Benn seemed to be what got Rittich up in arms, but shouldn’t have put themselves in that position.
What is the point of James Neal? He’s not actively a detriment, but he doesn’t do anything. At all.
Powerplay was too predictable. They had good zone time but generated nothing dangerous, especially in the first (apparently high danger chances were 7-0 Dallas even though we had all of those PP’s).
Wonder if 3M wouldn’t have done a better job against Benn/Seguin tonight. Frolik very underrated in that regard.
Czarnik looked overmatched. Neal does very little and I wonder if he even knows what he’s doing out there. Bennett generating chances but of course, no finish.
Lastly, monster game by #44 on the Stars. Every time I watched him he was either knocking a Flame down, or making a positive play. Contributed to two of the Stars goals as well.
Bennett just looks more confident out there. I see him putting up some great performances for a while.
Jankowski is also playing with swagger. Great to see. I was hoping that Hanifin would take notice of Brodie jumping up and leading the charge that he would start doing it too. Still time

Depth has been good the last couple. Doing what they need.
Conversely Tkachuk and Monahan aren't playing as well as they can. Lindholm's shooting is more human lately (even though he's getting in good places still) and powerplay being a bit perimeter-y.
All ebbs and flows of the season.
When on earth does Neal get warm, let alone hot though? Bennett's looked more comfortable and many were writing him off as an NHLer. Dude needs to look like he has even a glimmer of finishing ability one of these nights soon. Starting to get a little eyebrow raising for a 10 time 21+ goal scorer.
He had plenty of time to reset and it shows in the replay.
Yes, there was interference. No, it did not prevent him from getting a fair chance at stopping the shot.
I think there's a difference between quickly scrambling to just get in front of the shot and actually resetting properly. Making sure he's focused on where the puck is, making sure he's in proper position.. Rittich did not have time to reset properly, there's no way.
