Leaning towards Costco for the TV.

I have also been looking for a 65 or 70" tv. I too am leaning towards Costco and likely the 70".
Have you found any other good deals?

A card like the 2080 is only good for bragging rights within a gaming community made up with a bunch of kids.

You darn kids! Get off that beautifully rendered, HDR, 16X Anisotropic filtered, particle and light shading optimized lawn.

I have a 6gb gtx 1060 and I run Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, AutoCAD, Maya, 3DS Max, Adobe Suite with no problem. I guess I don't use Solidworks, vectorworks, ArchiCAD etc... So they might need something beefier.
The problem is that a lot of these programs still use the CPU to actually Render

I have an older card and am upgrading to a higher resolution monitor, so my card isn't going to be able to keep up, heck it can't even keep up now at 1920x1200 with AC Odyssey.
If I could find a 1080ti for a reasonable price I'd prefer that, but if I can buy a brand new 2080 for $50 more than a used 1080ti or LESS than a new 1080ti (which are getting harder to find), then that makes more sense.
But yes I'm upgrading so I can brag to all my middle age friends who don't game.

I use Solidworks qutie a bit and it's a bloated beast, and it crawls to a near stop if you're trying to do anything complex with it, or use it with any other CAD software at the same time. I use it in conjunction with some circuit board design software and its almost impossible to use both simultaneously. I think Solidworks probably has it's own inefficiencies but it would constantly crash until I upgrade my video card, and now it only grinds along unless everything is wire-framed.

Looking for a micro sd card above 256gb. There's a 400gb sandisk on Amazon but it isn't on sale.
Also if anyone knows of a laptop power bank that can charge an ultrabook and / or a microsoft surface that's on sale I'd buy one of those.
