Great win to end the season. Go Bombers. Also if there is any karma, Ty Long gets smoked in the game next week with no penalty called. what a loser

Just got home from being out after the Flames game. I’m drunk but still so amped up for the West Final, we already own this province. Let’s win a ####ing Grey cup

I hope Collaros is fine. His play vs Winnipeg so far is brutal this year.

He should get fined for that as he embarrassed the officials and DD had to waste his only challenge. You can't have that kind of embellishment in football.

For stuff like that i think if a coach is forced to use a challenge on it and wins that challenge, then the other team not only loses their own challenge, but a 15 yd unsportsmanlike should be tacked on.
Guys would never do it knowing it could cost their HC and teammates field position as well as the only challenge of the game.

Aside from the win, I think the Stamps went relatively unscathed from an injury perspective. I'm hoping that both Rogers and Daniels are available for the West final (Rogers should be, Daniels a little more questionable).

If they can trot out Rogers and Daniels along with Matthews and the Canadian guys.....they should be able to throw the ball all day if conditions are decent enough.
I was quite encouraged by the running game last night as well...as that may be something very needed in a couple weeks.

Maybe so generally, but against the Stamps this year he's 2-0 with 622 yards and a 71% completion percentage and no INTs.

But they didn't score TDs too often as an offence. He only had 9 TD passes (with 13 INTs) in 14 games played.

That's only relevant if Bo decides to leave the 15 yard out pass in his back pocket and the Saskatchewan defense and/or special teams doesn't score. Otherwise Collaros carved up the Stamps secondary and basically converted every 2nd and long last game.
Another interesting Sask stat: No Riders Wide Receiver caught a Touchdown pass this year, but yet they were able to finish 12-6 and beat the Stamps 2 out of 3 games.
Personally I want Winnipeg to serve the Riders a steaming s&^%burger so we don't have to deal with 10,000 green idiots and all the secondary baggage that entails on Nov 18.

I actually don't care who the Stamps face. If they can't beat the Bombers or Riders they don't deserve to win the Grey Cup. That said if I had to choose my preference would be the Riders because even though the Stamps are for some reason the only team in the league with issues stopping their offense, they can control turnovers which is what the Riders depend on to win more than not as Mitchell has thrown a couple of pick 6's against them. If the Stamps play a clean game I don't see how the Riders can beat them. Bombers have more big play potential with their offense and they always have trick plays that seem to work.

I agree with EE, I'd rather face the Riders even though the recent play-off history between these two teams swings towards Saskatchewan. Everybody talks about the Riders defense, but the Bombers have a strong defense as well and they have some ball hawks in their secondary. The x-factor might be Chris Strelever, O'Shea doesn't hesitate to put in him to switch things up and Strelever doesn't hesitate to tuck the ball and run with it and he's pretty damn good at it.
As far as turnovers are concerned, you know that Terry Williams is going to bobble at least one punt during the game. Here's hoping he can fall on it before the opposition does.

I dont care who they face either but I would prefer its the Riders.
Its all the more satisfying to end their season than anyone elses, and yes that goes both ways.
I just have a feeling that the Stamps will beat whoever they face this year, so bring them on....they will be cocky and arrogant because they won a couple times this year so the disappointment they will feel will be exponential.
Plus beating Chris Jones is always ALWAYS a plus.

My preference is definitely for the Stamps to play the Bombers.

Eff the Riders. I hope Winnipeg goes into their house and beats them 60-1.
Then the Bombers can come here for the West Final and we can do the same to them

I want this too. No way in any shape or form do I want rabid Rider fan infestation in this city for the Western Final.
They were bad enough in the regular season and giving them playoff hopes would make Calgary unbearable 2 weeks from now
I think the Bombers have what it takes to destroy the Riders this weekend
