That's gotta be our first regulation win against Frederik Andersen, eh?

Also, first W in Toronto since February 15, 2011. First regulation W in Toronto since November 14, 2009. Wow.

Nice to win in places we've never won in years. MSG. And now, Toronto? What's next?

Betting this will be a short PGT. A lot of shattered narratives.

Game could easily be 5-0.

When the blew the play dead after the Leafs' phantom call I was livid. I'd be losing it right now it the Flames lost because of that.

Gifted the Leafs a goal and clearly stole one from the Flames.

I think we're now 4-3.

*edit* - 4-2.

TJ Brodie needs to bottle tonight's game and make more of that. That was top pairing TJ of old.

I was at last season's game in Toronto. This is a much better outcome.

I had a $4 craft beer from the fridge rather than $40+ beers from the ACC, and the Flames won and didn't get shutout.

Sure the baby fussed going to bed so I missed everything from after the 2nd TV timeout in the first and the first 5 minutes of the second. And yes, I had t fold laundry...

But we won!

Woo... I'll take it

I am so flippin' happy Smith had a fantastic game. All around great games, but Mike Smith was solid as hell. Disappointed for him to have that SO sniped.

So happy we have a Top 50 misplay for sure as well. This will be a game we'll be reminded of for sure.

Mike Smith.

These stats against east teams are pretty overblown. Yeah, 7 years is a long time, but we only played 6 games in Toronto since then (not including the win tonight).

Great road game by the Flames. They kept the Leafs to the perimeter and gave them very few quality shots. Outstanding defensive game.

A near perfect game for the Flames, atleast for 55 minutes or so. Obviously didn’t much care for the calls to give TO a two man advantage but some of Calgary’s Pp’s were the result of some weak calls too.

Noticed Gaudreau with some nice plays in his own zone. And am really liking Anderssen’s game. Nice to see that even a Babcock coached team is more than capable of mailing it in for majority of the game.

Only real disappointment for me was how many draws the Flames lost in last 5 minutes. That surprised me.

Really hope we see more of this.

Spoiler!

Great game by the Flames, big win! Good to take advantage of a team without Matthews, yet still has a ton of high end talent.

Brodie had a good game. Broke up a bunch of plays and skated well. Good bounce back for him.

Can't believe Lindholm has 8 goals already. I don't know if he has a reputation for disappearing in the 2nd half of the season or not, but if he keeps this up he's going to smash his personal best by a mile.

Clutch save by Smith on the faceoff shot. Completely in the zone on a wicked-fast play. Good overall puckhandling and game by Smith.

Defensive game as a whole was excellent. Active sticks all night by all players and a much more committed effort by all the skaters.

Dumb play to blow the whistle when the puck was on the net. What the hell?? Not the Flames fault the Leafs were dancing around like idiots. I've seen the puck get stuck on the side plenty of times and the play keeps going. I'm glad the Flames still got an empty net as a final F you.
