Same old Flames.

Backlund and Tkachuk both skate right by the puck. No help for their defensemen.

No hope for Smith to save that one, but it sure doesn't help his confidence to let one in early.

That fourth line hem in earlier was a lot to do with Hathaway just being in poor position to retrieve the puck or get a pass.

There it is, leaving the zone before getting possession. Said this the last week that Peters quick transition system needs discipline to work, and leaving the zone early hoping to make a quick transition are recipes for disaster if it goes wrong. Tkachuk and Backlund there 100% guilty.
