I cant believe only 4 other people put down Sopranos. It's easily the best show on TV

The Shield is my second favorite. Its hard to see because its only on in the States. (Yes, I know it was on Global, but that was nearly a year after it had been on in the US.) If you haven't seen the third season yet, get ready, its is AWESOME!!

The Sopranos is so bloody old though.... see it goes like this, fat mob guy screws a whore, the whore gets upset, his wife knows but doesn't do anything.... lots of swearing, someone gets upset, fat mob guy goes to a shrink, everyone is upset, things cool down and get back to normal. At the end of a season a main character gets shot or murdered in some other way.

I still really enjoy the Sopranos. You just tend to forget about it since its sometimes 14 months + between episodes. Great show still though.

Lonely Planet and spawn thereof. Great show. If you think Survivor has tough eating contests you haven't watched this show.

The Chris Isaak Show. Isaak doing a Kareoke of "Sink The Bismark" in a gay bar while trying, unsuccessfully, to dodge a tabloid reporter, was a television highlight of the year. Unfortunately, this was the last year.

That's it.

I don't watch much TV when it's first on TV. Never seem to find the time to watch during primetime. About the only thing I make a point of watching is "The Amazing Race 5."

Since I only manage to watch TV late at night I will watch "Lonely Planet" or whatever it's become now. "Iron Chef" is always fairly entertaining too.

I usually wait for release on DVD so I can watch at my convenience (usually after 1am!) So my favourite TV shows on DVD would be:

The Office
The West Wing (At least seasons 1 and 2. That's all I've seen so far)
24
Monk

I've also got lots of comedies on DVD and would consider them favourite TV shows: Fawlty Towers, Blackadder are probably my most favourite

I've just got Curb so am really interested in watching it after seeing the show feature here heavily as a fav
