Smith may not have been amazing but he did what he needed to do to close it out. Made one more save than the other guy and that's what you need. Baby steps to getting back to being that solid starter that we could rely on.

Hanifin - Best Flame tonight

Valimaki - Best game as a flame

Dube - Continues to impress

Lindholm - One hell of a game in all 3 zones

Bennett - Played an effective hard nosed game, offence still struggles however.

Really liked Hanifin and Hamonic. Lindholm was great. The forecheck was great for the first half of the game. I think Dube should be in the lineup.

Hell, Bennett scored the GWG last game and it was a slagfest. Nuts, I tell you. Nuts.

If he alternates GWG and big hits that goad guys into extra penalties when they are trying to come back, I can see that being all right.

The PP stunk because they couldn't make a pass, couldn't connect while trying to gain the line, and couldn't recover a puck in the corners.

One thing is clear, Valimaki and Dube really do not want to go to Stockton

Has anyone seen a replay of Lindholm man-handling someone at the blueline before setting up that give-and-go?

What did you guys think of Czarnik?

Definitely more noticeable in the first half of the game. Fast and smart out there.

hoping it lands in the flames cut of the highlight pack. Needs to be seen in its entirety.

I don't always post in PGT during the regular season so it probably wont be 82 games. A lot less if Bennett plays well. Hopefully that makes you feel better

I love him. He makes great decisions with the puck and gets on guys quick. Accurate passes.

I always shake my head when the ref gives a roughing minor instead of the instigator. NHL is clueless with the instigator.

Thought they were full marks getting to 4-1 and then sat back. Still a few thinks to tweak but happy with the direction they are headed.

Been looking for it ever since it happened. I'm sure it will pop up on reddit soon, I really want to see it again

Valimaki, Andersson, and Dube all making strong cases to make the team. Don’t know if they will right out of camp, but if I were Lazar, Hathaway, or Kulak I’d be watching my back this season.

When Stockton takes team pictures, I expect any player worth their salt has a scowl on their face.

Didn't get to see the game but that Lindholm goal was slick, I could get very used to seeing Johnny and him work magic like that.

Love seeing the Bennett hit and fight too.
