7 minute drive to work in the morning, 14 back and forth to go home for lunch, 20 minutes from work to golf course after work.
I could not handle my commute time when I lived in Calgary anymore, life is too short as it is.

I live in McKenzie Towne, work downtown. I leave at 6:10 am and it takes me about 23 minutes. I leave at 3:30 pm and it takes 25-30 minutes.

Garrison Green to downtown, ~12 minutes door-to-door.

Currently:

About 27-30 min in the morning. NE to downtown.
35ish on the way home.

Longest commute I’ve had? Worked a couple months of construction site at Bar U Ranch. In the days before the Deerfoot extension and Stoney trail - so you had to cut across from Deerfoot to McLeod on Anderson or 22x. NE Calgary - Bar U ranch probably 100 minutes. About the same going back home in the evening.

Easiest commute: walking across the house, when I still lived at my parents house and worked in the office there.

Live in Chestermere, used to work downtown. If traffic was light I could do it in 25 minutes, average though was 30-35. Then I started working right next to Chinook and thought my commute would suck, but thankfully Peigan isn't too bad most days so I use that instead of Glenmore and my commute average hasn't changed. Not looking forward to the drive when we move to the NW of Calgary though...

Live on the westside of town, so my commute is around 30-40 minutes each way most days. I am sure there is a limit (hour each way would be too much), but I honestly don't mind driving, listening to a bit of news or a podcast and clearing my mind. Not so sure the opportunity cost is really that high.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

I live in a small town. It's about a 30 second drive or a 10 minute walk.

I used to live a 4 minute walk to work which in one sense was good, it was nice not having to drive, but I must say that in the winter it was pretty rough.

People not shoveling their sidewalks made that walk more treacherous than most drives.

Also, while it was convenient sometimes being that close to work was a pain in the ass because I'd constantly get late night emails and phone calls from my boss:

"Hey, can you just pop into the office and do this?"

No. I dont wanna.
