Bought some fire sticks for under $30 each, not a bad deal!

On the packaging standpoint, I'm curious if amazon warehouses are able to find efficiencies in how their cases/pallets are delivered - I imagine they'd want the biggest possible caseloads which would reduce interim packaging (and unpackaging)
Between Amazon locations - possibly/probably.

To Amazon - not really since everyone is sending their stuff on their own but they do try to cut out distributions channels at least in the parts of the business I've worked with Amazon on.

Outbound from Amazon to the customer - if you've ever seen a van or whatever carrying Amazon packages - you'll know this isn't the case. They just pile things everywhere

For people interested in dash cams, the Viofo A129 and A119 v3 models have a good discount on them right now. You can get the A129 Pro Duo (4K front/HD rear) with a hardwiring kit and a polarizing filter for $300. Usually the A129 Pro Duo alone is $324.

A119 V3 is front only but a really good price, only $108.

$900-1200 for a watch? I hope you at least look into taking advantage of a few other ways to get a little extra off.

ie: The $5-10 credit for topping up gift cards (if available) that you can immediately apply towards your purchase and/or applying for an Amazon credit card and getting 2.5-5% off qualifying purchases for the first 6 months (You receive your cash back as Amazon gift cards) plus a welcome of $50 gift card.

There's also a promo you can often get for $50 off qualifying purchases of $100+ if you sign up for business prime (basically same as regular prime but no Amazon video and the media stuff), but IDK what those terms are. I think it usually means that as long as it's not a third party retailer it qualifies, but IDK if it has to be Amazon specifically or if certain verified retailer qualifies as well.

It's worth looking into. If you meet all the criteria, I think you can get around $80-100 off pretty easily. Maybe even more.

For anyone with an older vehicle that you want to add a back up camera without rewiring stuff, this is a great option as well. It's on lightning deal for $191. Apparently this is also useful for people to easily/temporarily attach to campers as well.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also added the extra for the solar panel which I think is around $30. You basically just remove the bolts on your license plate to install the camera and the solar panel clips on the camera. I think it was worth it full price. No point saving the $100-150 for a wired one if you aren't comfortable wiring it.

The screen inside the car you just plug into a USB. Screen turns on when the car starts and turns off after like 30 seconds. To activate the screen/camera you just push a button and it'll turn on for 30 seconds. It's a decently sized screen. I'm not a fan of having a ton of screens on my dash, so I'm going to do a quick and cheap mod to be able to magnetically place the screen on my console. Good spot and I can easily remove the screen if required.

It's a little bigger and bulkier than the typical back up camera. But it's dead easy to install and no wiring to deal with. (I don't believe it has recording functions though). According to the seller page, people also use them as a screen to check on passengers?

My dad installed a wireless backup camera that he bought off of Amazon in his C5 Corvette. Apparently the receiving antenna is quite strong, as he has mentioned the video feed while driving will randomly cut over to a camera feed from an apartment block when he drives down a certain stretch of Portage Avenue in Winnipeg.

I got a Fenix 6 Pro a little while ago and I like it a lot. For tracking MTB and fat bike rides the data is way more accurate than Apple Watch.

I did end up getting the 6, went for the 0% interesting - 12 month payment (I love 0% interest, I'll take that money stick it in a savings account and earn on their dime); plus the gift card reload bonus, plus it's on my Amazon CC so another 2.5% back.

Garmin from what my friends have and my experience with Fitbit and other watches is where it's at, ya they are expensive but they are loaded with features I want that other watches don't have or not nearly to the same quality.

Looking for the same reason makes it easier to track and find trails without pulling out my phone; I also want a fitness tracker since my Fitbit died on me.

If an NVME SSD is needed, 150 bucks for a 1TB 980 pro seems like a pretty solid deal.

If you're wary of the Samsung warranty for SSDs, the rival WD SN850 is also on sale at a good price.

I think that a lot of the stuff on sale is dead stock. Things that haven't sold in the past few years, new editions of the products are out/coming out and this way Amazon can sell their product instead of having it take up room on a shelf. Some good deals for sure but lots of stuff that came out in 2018-2020

^That's definitely true on the Garmin front; I ended up getting a watch from Visions at the same price for a slightly better version because they were all price matched.
