They didn't really address the authenticity of the jersey, they said they are authorized to sell that companies product.
It doesn't look like they question the suppliers rights to market a specific product.
They are taking the high road.

I imagine the different font was cut & paste from an employee that looked after this for Kahlea. This happens to me at work a lot where a service guy will ask me a question about a job I did and he will just cut and paste my response into his response to the customer. I don't think that's a template answer.

this reminds me of the Sir Mix-a-Lot song 'Swap Meet Louie', where Mix is talking to the lady selling the fake Louis (by the batch!) and Mix says 'Man, why would I want some of that fake Louis' then a dude comes says "I'd like some of that Louis'

The generic template part are the first and last paragraphs. You can even see "Darren" is different font.

Geez, can't a guy run a shady mall kiosk selling knockoff good without some do-gooder ruining his business these days? This wouldn't have happened before the internet. Poor guy. Not going to be able to feed his family, and will probably end up in a ditch being gnawed on by hares while jets drop toilet waste on him.

This is pretty bad of Jersey City / Lids. They know full well they are selling fakes as they used to stock the licensed Charleston Chiefs Jerseys.
As an aside that madbros website is pretty cool. I can finally get that Stevie Weeks Mystery, Alaska jersey I have been looking for!
