In that play, yes, but not all situations are going to be that way. This is a scenario that the league should look at adjusting the rule.

Never said it was, but he wasted his time and attention on trying to talk to the ref, who couldn't do anything anyway.

Maybe, but I'm sure he knew he was a sitting duck and went for the solution that seemed most likely to be successful. I know though, play to the whistle.

Bruins have been double hosed so far this game. Call on Pasternak to bring the goal back was garbage, and I guess rask should have taken his mask off to get the play called dead.

Also, obvious interfere on Nash that goes uncalled that would have been a 2-1 for the Bruins.

Is it a penalty to take the mask off on purpose? He could probably make it look like an accident (was it Bishop who was good at that)?

But if he gets a penalty is 5 on 3.

The penalty leading to the Bolts goal was weak as well.

What am I missing with Pasternak call? Two handed retaliatory crosscheck to the shoulder. That's not legal.

4-2 Bruins!

Marchand from MacAvoy and Pastrnak.

Wow. DeBrusk takes a big hit, looks woozy and manages to eventually get back up only to block a shot and then makes a great diving play to knock the puck out.

He's a stud.

Top line AGAIN.

Bergeron from Marchand and Pastrnak. Unbelievable.

They haven't given Pastrnak an assist yet on the 4th goal, but they should.

If so, Pastrnak will have 5A, Marchand 1G 2A, and Bergeron 2G 1A.

Pulling the goalie with 6 min left is stupid.

DeBrusk with the EN, another point for the CP pool!

Looks like CP will collect:

Bergeron: 2G+1A
Rick Nash: 2G
DeBrusk: 1G
Backes: 0
McAvoy: 2A
Chara: 0
Miller: 0
Rask: 1W

9 points currently.

Had a power play, down by 3. Most coaches do that in the POs.
