Yep. Hurts to see the highest drafted player in franchise history be at this point in his career.
Still young, but not a lot of optimism from me. Needs to do something positive next year or time to cut bait. Really disappointing.

I just hope Sam Bennett doesn’t read CP. it’s like some of you guys have never played hockey, or if you do you play soft as hell. He’s out there giving it his all, and honestly is looking like a young Gary Roberts in a lot of ways.
GG is ruining a lot of our young guys development with his stupid system and I hope bennett and Brodie are both here next season in a system where they can play fast and open and bennett will clean up the penalties in time.

Wow. First 30 seconds of Flames hockey I’ve watched in about two weeks. They turn a 3 on 2 rush into an offside, followed by a completely unnecessary and unjustified roughing penalty. My kids PeeWee team doesn’t play this stupid.

Im of the opinion that they cut bait with him this summer.
He truly offers nothing more than being "a guy".
