I hope that Guy is alright. Typically, if you're helped right away, things aren't too bad considering. Hopefully this is something relatively minor that can be treated easily and that he'll be up and at them again soon. I have nothing but well wishes for Guy, Johnny and the entire Gaudreau family.

Frankly, I think the Flames should just let him stay out east for the rest of the season. What difference does it make either way.

I feel like I know more about Johnny's dad than any other Flames dad in history. And he's a beauty.

Wishing him the best possible outcome from this unfortunate circumstance.

It's funny -- for some reason Johnny's parents have become an integral part of his path to Calgary and his overall story. Besides Tkachuk, I don't think I'd recognize anyone else's parents if we were all in the same room.

Even if Calgary was doing well, his place is with his father. Family is blood, hockey is just a game.

Hoping and praying that Guy makes a full recovery, and both he and Johnny take good care of their health from here on in. Life is a precious and fragile thing.

Wish Guy nothing but the best, of course.

During the ‘15 playoffs, met Guy outside the ‘Dome where they do all the pregame fan stuff (under the Plus 15). I stopped him just so I could shake his hand and welcome him to Calgary. He was extremely gracious with all fans who recognized him.

I was majorly impressed that he was walking amongst the “unwashed masses” outside when he didn’t really have to. Seemed to me like he was soaking in the whole experience. Super down-to-earth kind of guy.

Nice. Johnny's on his way back to Calgary.

Good to see Guy is up and about. He probably told Johnny to get out of the house.

Ouch, that eye. Looks like it was a nasty fall.

First Johnny flew home, and now he's flying home again.

I wonder if Johnny lured Guy out of the hospital bed with skittles.

Super happy for Guy. Johnny seems like such a nice kid and I'm glad his dad is up and around again.

Best Flames news we've heard in a long while.

Scary times, and hopefully Pops is out without any lasting effects. Have to think him being released so early is a good sign there.

Poor Guy hurt his arm too?
