Feels like the Flames are never gonna score again. We just can't seem to generate anything resembling a decent chance.

At least put someone there that has a history of ever producing in their career that can maybe find it at some point. You're hampering your offense for basically no reason whatsoever.

This team just takes terrible shots from anywhere. No wonder they can't score goals. They are incapable of setting up a play.

Really what is the point of this moving up the ice as a 5 man unit. This seems to be Gully’s big plan. I don’t get it. So the puck carrier moves the puck up the ice meanwhile everyone is stopped dead at the opposition blue line until the puck carrier decides what he is going to do. Mind numbingly stupid and boring hockey. Can someone explain to me the “so called” advantage to this style? I don’t get it.

They started the period with some jump and looked pretty good early, but the short handed goal completely took the wind out of their sails, and now they look like crap again. Playing tentative, like they're afraid to make a mistake.

5 man pack attack. It’s got a pretty sweet name right? Well I don’t know about you but when a name whips ass that hard I say you run that system.

What a pathetically boring period.

Though it isn't his fault the defence Flames'd up the other end of that SHG.
Lucky fans, I wish someone would block me from having to watch our power play.

Predictable results when you consider just how slow the team plays. Where’s the quick breakouts? The pace pushing work ethic?

Sad state of affairs. Treliving has his work cut out for him this summer. He has to make up for his recent missteps.

He's a prototypical 4th liner, if an NHLer, can bring energy but can't be relied on to produce. If you're trying to be a competitive team, you probably don't reserve regular spots for those players in your top 9.

But that's just one thing on the very long list of Gulutzan's transgressions.

Really, maybe if they had coaches that could draw up a competent powerplay they wouldn’t be playing with the puck in their own end of the ice. Is that not on the coaching???

If I'm Curtis Lazar I spend all summer shooting pucks from the slot. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
