...aaaaannndd it's 2–0. Go to hell, Canucks.

For some reason I watched the last 'Nucks game, Baershi was almost totally invisible. Also he never backchecks.

And they couldn't resist the old Connor line of question.
So George how would you go about protecting the gem of the team Connor McDavid.
George did have a nice dig against the current Oilers, or at least it felt like a dig when he talked about it being easier to be a fighter for the Oilers when he played because teams respected them.

And then Principe interrupts George talking about the kids he helps to ask how he would protect Conner. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. That broadcasting team is so stupid.

It was so ridiculous...Nashville actually made it to the finals last season, with major injuries and actually outplayed the Pens IMO.
Yet it was all Oilers all the time, all Canadian media were guilty to be honest. On what planet were the Oilers a better team than Nashville on paper?
After a shiny new draft pick they will likely do the exact same thing again this summer.

Referring to players by their first name only is lame.

During the game they showed the center depth for the Predators in the finals compared to current and you kind of forget how decimated they were and also how bad the officiating was in last season's playoffs.
I fully expect most media in the offseason to be drawing parallels with every team in recent history that had a down season that came back the next season predicting the Oilers to have a big rebound season.

" and the puck deflects in.... and it's 4-1 Vegas".

Brings back unpleasant memories of Flames PPV and Roger Millions doing it ad nauseam.

Vegas needs to pour it on, as one of them will be second star tonight.

Quinn did the announcer version of raising your stick when you think the puck is in.
"And he sc.... oh."

Quinn and Remenda are unbelievable!! That Strome chance was more of a kick than the last Vegas goal and I’m sure wouldn’t have counted but no mention of that from those two clowns. They were too busy oohhing and ahhhhing about what a great chance it was. Idiots!!
