I have an odd memory in the sense that I am able to recall what has been stated months before. I guess that is what being in debate in high school will do (recalling facts). Trust me it has nothing to do with you in particular, but I am able to remember things from pretty much everyone I encounter.

But Jordon I thought you would be complimented as it is as close as you will get to a friend.... :P
No wonder you're such an annoying dweeb... Debate class?

PM me if you want this nonsense to continue.

Anyhoo, I agree with Cow's average of 11 being shorter than expected. I would've thought around 15-16 years.

Cow, the young kittens wont be Euthanized at the SPCA, but the older cats will be for sure.

The kittens can always manage to find a home.

I'm just surprised that at the SPCA they don't offer out the older cats at say 1/2 price of the kittens, in most cases they have to do a lot less work with them.

But of course, they are right now at 100% of the price of kittens, so of course most people will get a kitten instead.

How about you use your head and check the time of the original post... I don't know of many Petlands that are open past 11pm do you?

Hell, I even went down there today to find out myself because I didn't get a definitive answer.

Good enough for ya?
You couldn't wait till morning? It would have saved you from this thread

How can you say that, and expect to get away with saying this?

To answer the question on why not the Humane Society:

I am too much of a softie/cat lover to go there. I know it sounds funny, but for me, going to the Humane Society would be heartbreaking as I would be looking at the experience as not me taking two cats home (which is what my wife wants) but rather that I was leaving all of the others behind.

When we find ourselves some kitties, I am almost certain it will be from some kind of pet store. We content ourselves by making semi-annual donations to the SPCA with the understanding that the money we are contributing in that sense is doing more good (as the monetary contribution would over time be greater) than the money they'd get from us for adopting. Of course this leaves out the idea of adopting AND donating but I go back to the first point I made: I don't think I could do it.

My Dad got a nice kitten from the Meow Foundation a while ago. At first, I thought that it was a great idea but upon reflection I'd find their style of determining if you are "suitable" to be a bit too much. My wife and I have both had pets our entire lives, and we don't need someone setting us through hoops to adopt there.

Thanks for posting the bargain finder stuff, and thanks for the offer Reg but we may aswell buy from petland if it has it's shots, vet inspected and the discount on neutering. I know it's possible to get cats for free from people but alot of times you basically need an interview before they give them to you, which is understandable as there some fudgeed up people out there but it does make the process less desirable.

I'm probably going to wait until Christmas or even later. Kittens need alot of attention and I won't be around enough to provide that. Goddam SAIT and their inability to transfer me to the next term!
