If anyone else hasn't changed the channel, there is a lot of orange going on here. It's cringeworthy.

Flames deserved to win, but at least got a point out of it. Tough to find fault in how they played tonight - I thought they dominated well.

Love seeing the evolution of Jankowski. Damn is he looking better and more dominant every game. You can see that line missed Jagr, especially along the boards, but Jankowski was terrific this game. Really love how aggressive he is becoming as well, and quick to defend his team mates.

Move on to Montreal. Overall, this was a great response by the Flames. Was hoping for the win, but just as important I was hoping to see exactly this by the Flames - sound defensive play and intensity throughout the game.

I'm happy with the point, considering most of the forum was predicting a blowout loss. The D looked good, Smith made some big stops, and the entire team skated well. Jankowski is a monster. A big strong centerman who uses his size? Haven't had that in a while!
Andersen has been on a tear lately, and the Leafs hit a post in the dying minute and we still got a point. Good bounce back game after 2 embarrassing loses. Too bad all those shootout attempts missed the net (except for Tkachuk).

Its a SO loss...its at least a tie

Flames also only allowed one goal against one of the better offensive teams

I say this was a pretty good game to watch. Good defensive hockey. Lots of offense. Lost on one last shootout shot. Happens.

9 times out of 10 the Leafs get stomped on like that they lose.

I think GG tried to win this 1-0, which rarely happens in hockey. Effort isn't the problem though.

I was expecting the refs and linesmen to rip off their zebra stripes to reveal Maple Leafs jerseys underneath after the game.

What more could've he have done there aside from put his equipment on himself?

Flames dominated Leafs all game long. That's the kinda game that gives Gulutzan some leeway.

You don't have time to post here, shouldn't you be watching the Oilers game?

Good game. GG should have had Janko as the 4th shooter. Had a good game and is a local. Kind of a crap move by GG, hopefully he just didn't realize it.

Honestly just leave this board now if this is all you’re going to contribute.

Posting this on the first page after that loss is just meaning to derail the thread with no real purpose, and if you truly believe that loss is on the coach at all then you’re just proving how biased you are.

You too. Just a garbage post as a so called “fan” of the team.

And a third.

I have no issue critiquing the coach. But to come in here after that game (which is probably one of their 5 best efforts of the season) and put any blame on GG is ridiculous. If anything it shows his message in yesterday’s practice worked.

The whole point was the Flames should play the same way no matter what...and at the end of the day it will pay off. They stuck with it tonight and dominated the entire game

Do it again tomorrow...Price might steal it? so what, do it again Saturday
