Nice shot into Mason’s chest, Stajan.

3 on 1 and all Stajan can do is flip it into Mason's chest.

The two best chances for the Flames in this game have come from Matt Bartkowski and Matt Stajan.

This is weird.

Some small improvements. Better puck pursuit. Better passing.

I like Mike Smith. Was not sure if I would but so far so good. Hope others in front of him can feed off that. Flames need to score!

Ya I have always been a Stajan supporter but he has lost it at this point. Would rather have Janko.

No idea what the stats are, but it seems like the top line's puck possession time is bad.

Stajan made the lowest percentage play possible there. Oh well. 4th-line expectations and all.

LOL at complaints about the fourth line effectively getting the puck, skating it up ice and getting an offensive face off. That's a good result when you have a fourth line on.

Monahan and Gaudreau need 10 games every season? They do know the season started?

Leafs have 12 goals in two games, Ovechkin has 7, let's at least make it one!

Going from that highly skilled 8-5 Leafs game to this is pretty depressing. Gulutzan is truly B.Sutter 2.0 except he has way more basic talent than Brent ever had.

As frustrating as it is to watch, it's going to take some time for the team to gel especially with two new d-pairings and a new goalie.

When they tighten things up I think Smith is going to be huge for us.

When he got hit in the mask and popped right back up like it was nothing, that was basically him in a nutshell.

That said, I'd advise not getting hopes up too high, as this is pretty par for the course for Smith, even in Arizona... He goes through stretches where he looks like a Vezina nominee and then has games where he can't stop a beach ball. Hopefully more of the former this year.

Please put Brodie back on the right. Need to know if that's why he's lost all his ability.

This is not a good sign, the Jets have clearly been the better team so far. Need a PP goal here.
