This is why teachers and educators get such a bad rap. Even after many years of schooling, there are multiple people who don't know what the words have and had mean. Some people think they are synonyms for prefer. Others think you can choose their own options when presented with a finite number of outcomes. The word 'had' may seem like a basic word to me, but that's likely because I had excellent teachers throughout my scholastic journey.

I guess. I think you're ignoring that there is a segment of the board who vehemently disagrees with this exercise and are abstaining. I think the best possible information would include how many people would rather have none of the above, rather than "information" gleaned by threatening to shove toothpicks under people's fingernails if they don't choose between one of three eminently unpalatable options.

Voted Jagr, but if the Flames didn't have Brouwer I would be fine with both Jagr and Iginla (as long as they came in cheap).
Will loudly moan if the Flames sign Doan.
