Alright guys, he didn't say he wants to punch anybody's new born to death. Chill out.
Anyway, bit disappointed Razzmatazz doesn't draw in, however it might be that they play Wideman this game and next, and give Gio the night off next game and Razzy draws in (I'm sticking with Razzy).

i'd be ok with Tkachuk sitting out this one... i mean it sucks for him because of the bonus situation, but i don't want him getting hurt before the playoffs either...
any word on Andersson playing? seems like Gilles, Lazar and F.Hamilton are confirmed to start...

I think Iggy's sitting on 1299 career points. It'll be nice if he can meet the "Rob Schremp" threshold before the season (and possibly career) is done.

This isn't really a game to settle any scores. In fact, I wouldn't even play him. There is really no point in risking any retribution or injury. Remember we've also got our players out there who don't like to dabble in the rough stuff and the last thing I want see is them being taken a run at.
The Flames simply cannot afford any injuries to their top players going in to the playoffs. We will need everyone to perform well.

Disappointing that Rasmus isn't in.
And I thought I heard Backlund was banged up.

I'm surprised Tkachuk is in tonight. Hopefully the Kings don't try to pull any dirty crap and just play a clean game tonight. We need a full healthy team going into the playoffs if we want a realistic shot at beating the Ducks or Hawks.

Really annoyed Rasmus isn't playing, glad we get to watch that amazing pairing of Wideman with Brodie, adventure every shift with those 2 together. God forbid we give him a game, this team let Grossman play 2 games.

Really annoyed by the amount of vitriol and frustration meaningless decisions like this create for histrionic fans. God forbid that the team take appropriate precautions to get depth players reps heading into the playoffs at the expense of raw rookies.

I don't get the frustration for playing Wideman, I do get frustrated that they have a 20 year old eating popcorn in the press box every night when he could be playing lots of meaningful minutes in Stockton. It's obvious he's not going to play at this point so send him back so he can play.

Whoa, calm down. Sorry I want to see one of the Flames best prospects get a game after being with the team for a month now.

Sureloss mentioned before that he is 1 assist away from a bonus, so it would be a low class move to scratch him.

Yeah I get that, but I wonder if the decision to keep Anderson in Calgary has anything to do with recall rules or procedures? I am unconvinced that the missed time in Stockton is causing him any harm, and while I am hopeful that the Heat make the playoffs this seems to also be a secondary priority.

His nickname has already been determined. It is Fatmus Sandwichsson. Learn it. Love it.

I think Stockton is also loaded with defencemen right now too. Flames probably want to see Ollas Mattsson (playing the right side) a lot and if you send Andersson down, AOM probably comes out. Josh Healey has only gotten into one game since signing his ATO.
His development isn't being hurt when he has to battle Tkachuk in practice for a puck or try and stop Gaudreau on a rush.

Chucky is in because he only needs one more assist to collect a $200K bonus I believe I read somewhere on this forum the other day
