Needed Lexi singing the anthems. She is the new good luck charm.

fine but to say it was their best effort of the season...I highly doubt it

Brodie doesn't belong on the first PP unit. We have no threat from the point on that power play, its a terrible setup.

This is the thing with players like Tkachuk. When they lose, their antics of pissing the other team off look like a bad move.

The Flames lost tonight because of their powerplay and top line not generating much outside the first goal. Nothing else.
3M has been awfully quiet on the production front though, too. Could've used them tonight as much as Johnny/Mony.

Maybe should've focused more on cycling in the o-zone and creating chances after the rough stuff early on.

Sucks to lose but I still love seeing Jarome put in a performance. Great game by him.

I think this game is a good lesson for Tkachuk. Its great to be confident and want to stir things up but I think he's got to learn how to focus it within the context of still needing to play and win an entire game. It'll be a good experience for him.

Chuck was fine, whats wrong with hitting the other teams best player again and again with clean hits and earning your team power plays?

I find myself agreeing with you a lot.

Man, Bennett is like 50 games overdue for a big, important goal.

Can't even catch a bounce off a skate or butt or something.

I think the PA announcer needs a good slap. Only reason I watch last 5 min was to see the 3 stars. Then he botches the number then he can't even give him the old Jaroooooome Iginla that he deserved.

High 5 to Harvey thumbs up Iggy

Not sure if you're aware but Jarome isn't a Flame any more.

Some people, namely those in associated with the Flames, aren't as sentimental as you are. Not every game he comes back to the dome to play in has to have Iginla tributes/special treatment. He was a great Flame and love the guy but they don't owe him anything beyond the status quo for opposing players at this point.

They looked past their opponent tonight.

As long as they dont lose the next 5 the season should still be a success.

Seeing how the Hawks put the boots to the Pens tonight and the Blues winning their game... oh boy it's gonna be a rough first round of the playoffs for the Flames.

He didn't even touch, just made a motion towards with his hands which I thought was strange. Anyway with the rules you're probably right.

Flames are also ahead of the Preds...season doesn't end tonight either

After watching some gifs and clips of the "slash" on Johnny that fake injury and acting scene has got to be the worst part of this loss

Problem for me is you never know if he's playing it up for refs or if it's really hurting.
