The past few years have had the California road trip of the Leafs scheduled as regional games only and have avoided playing on a Saturday.

That is true. The California teams will always balk and usually have denied that request for Monday to Saturday games.

No offense but I always find games versus most western conference teams to be boring. It's always more of a grind game than a fast paced back and forth.

Hey savemedrzaius,
How has Zaitsev been this year? I know he was talked about a lot as a big European free agent coming over but haven't follow the Leafs enough to know if he's done well adapting to the NHL. Only 25, so I imagine he's likely to be re-signed?
