I don't see Bennett suiting up next game.
What???

Hathaway couldn't play tonight he was too injured.

How you you make your conclusions? Flames had no other scratched forward to replace Bennet with anyway.

Good game to get the confidence back up. Was concerned we might end up with another Vancouver fiasco, but they gave up very little after the second goal (while scoring six unanswered).

Lol at Johnny getting cross-checked from behind in the second. He then gets up and gives 3 or 4 solid cross-checks back, and the ref still does nothing.

Unfortunately missed this one, but good to see the Flames play a good game and win! Have to keep it rolling now.

Did they mention on the broadcast what the flames franchise record is for fastest 2 goals by the same player?

This was a fun one to be at. Loved some of the 'Dome reactions, especially to Luongo.

I believe Lanny McDonald scored two goals in 9 seconds or something ridiculous like that.

Lanny in 1984. 2 goals in 6 seconds.

Great game by the flames. Would have been very easy to get down after the first, but instead they fought back and were relentless on the panthers. Backlund's line continues to be excellent. Really like what I'm seeing from Monahan the last few games. You can tell when he's feeling it cause he drives the net more and uses his shot. Gaudreau still struggling for the most part. Little better tonight though. Bennett just has no confidence right now. Thought he was decent the first two periods, but then in the 3rd takes two penalties and that's all everyone remembers. Just needs a game so badly to break out and pot a couple to get him going a bit. Hope it comes soon.

Gotta feel for Bouma. Two point night taken away with the offside reviews. He deserved that goal tonight too. Played really well and has been playing well the last month. Finally looks to be healthy and he's playing like it. That fourth line was real solid.

I'm assuming the 2nd was an EN off the faceoff as per usual.

I wish they'd separate this record into goals scored in general, and 2 fastest goals scored against a goalie.

Could be totally wrong, but I believe I read on Twitter tonight it was in a 6-4 loss to Detroit I believe. If that's the case I doubt one of the goals was in an empty net.

That's awesome if true.

I'd love to see highlights of that 2nd goal. Goalie probably pulled a classic 80s whiff.
