That give-away was very bad and came close to costing them on a few chances. No idea why he tried a weak backhand from near the dot out past Kessler when he had 4 players back in support and no Duck pressing.
Good crunch to regain possession and make a proper clear though.

Disagree. They were hemmed in a couple of times, but overall I thought that was an excellent period by the Flames. 40 more minutes of that and we're golden.

Am I alone in thinking plays like Backlund's where there was just about to be a penalty but they score anyways should still result in a penalty?
In my mind a delayed penalty should only be negated by a goal if the goalie has stepped onto the bench for the extra attacker.
