Took a bit of a run at him and caught him with the elbow. He deserved the two minutes he got, but he usually gets away with those types of plays, so he was really surprised the refs called it.

Yep great pick by the Canucks. I know, I know, some are going to reply and say the Finn could be a great defenceman but I'll reply with how many Finn d-men develop into great NHL defenceman? You could probably count them on one hand. I know all players aren't the same from every country but I think there's something to that. Finland just doesn't develop great defenceman and where the Canucks picked him, he better be great.

I'll take Tkachuk every time.

What a steal of a pick
You can't steal something that a GM with cognitive challenges fumbles into your lap.

Beat stupid Arizona.

Stopped the losing streak.

Elliott wins.

Monahan keeps the point total rising.

Tkachuk is great.

Cameron makes the PP great?

Well, that's all just fine by me.

The hits that pissed me off were the McGinn on Versteeg hit - absolute flying elbow, directly to the head, that's 5 and a game - and the Johnny hit on the goal, Gologoski was pretty rough with that hit and it was clean but thought we should have responded to that like Engs did to the Versteeg hit.

Until tonight, the Yotes had given up 3 PP goals at home.

Oops. You can make that 6 now.

Solid road win. Elliott looked shaky on those goals, but he came up huge in the 5 on 3.
