As much as we harp on the Oilers, I think it's tough to argue that Colorado isn't the most poorly managed team in the league. No way they should be as bad as they are with all those high picks.

He, Comeau, and Colborne should be out of the league.... I don't care how many goals they have

Hope I'm wrong, but I think this is Iggy's last season. Big thing for me is his shooting percentage looks to be way down and doesn't seem to be turning any time soon. His puck handling has dropped off a lot this year, and the legs just aren't there. He loses a lot of puck battles along the boards and his defense....yikes.

That line of Colborne - Mitchell - Comeau isn't going to do much for you.

Funny, I find myself saying the same think about the Greasers every year. Difference is that Colorado has at least had flashes of success, whereas the sweatpants brigade has been consistently stinky for a decade straight despite multiple top picks. Edmonton has set the bar so low that no team in pro sports may ever again touch it, and the Avs are not anywhere close to that level of bad.

Agree. Not to mention the other team that was after him was the Islanders, who have been a bit better but not much.

Not crazy to think Iginla figured Duchene, Landeskog and Mackinnon would create a perennial playoff team

9-1 at the end of 2.

You know a goalie's confidence is shot when he cant stop a shot from the blue line with no impedances.

Wonder how far Bednar is going to last in Colorado...

You have to imagine if there is one team who is looking to make a huge shake-up trade, that it has to be the Avalanche

Poor guy has no chance with that roster. Seriously the worst roster in the league.

Sakic should be canned. He's in Garth Snow territory now.

Domi getting surgery? yikes.
They assume it's his hand but I'm guessing it's to his pride.
