Grab Staal and just start feeding him shots. If he doesn't want to defend himself he is going to be sore.

I foresee a very frustrating game of nonstop whistles and a never ending parade to the sinbin. Flames spend 80 minutes in the box, compared to the Wild's 15.
5-3 All PP goals for the Wild.
I pray that I am wrong.

I've got no negative judgements for those that want the Flames to get dirty, but I've decided that's not what I want.
I want it clean. I want Ferland crunching guys into the boards like he did to Pelech the other day. Make it uncomfortable, make it mean, but keep it clean.
Basically, just give Ferland's line big minutes, and let Tkachuk and Bennett play mean. Let Tkachuk run his mouth at them all night. That's all I can ask from tonight. No letting up. Finish EVERY check... and if they want to scrap? Skate away. Get 'em frustrated.
Bennett can't seem play that game without taking 1000 penalties, but maybe tonight will be different?

Bennett hasn't taken penalties for playing mean, though. He's taken them from dumb stick infractions, lazy plays generally in the offensive zone, and a couple of bad calls

Yeah, I don't want anything dirty either. Suspensions will be a pain.
I just want the team to play as disciplined and unified as the Wild did in going after Gaudreau.
Target Suter and Staal. Every time they touch the puck, I want them hit hard. No let-up. Just focus all the hits on those two.
I am surprised Bollig didn't get called up - at least seeing as the Wild decided to call up their 'tough' guy. This means when things get chippy, it will probably be Ferland that has to end up having to fight that goon, unless Engelland ends up fighting twice tonight (counting Stewart).
I do expect a response game out of this team, especially if they go down by 2 or 3 goals. Just try to win this game Boudreau. Flames won't have to be so disciplined.
I will be disappointed if there is no response. Focus-in on their two stars who just happen to be the two most responsible for the injury, and who happen to be 1st and 3rd on the team in scoring. Maybe attack the net and muck it up more around Dubnyk. That is what this team should do.
I don't want any sucker punching, stupid slashes like the Wild did, or blind-side hits or stupid stuff like that. Just a team-focused legal hit-train on their two stars. That's all that is needed. I want Suter and Staal to avoid playing the puck by the end of the 1st period.
I really do believe that if there is no response, the entire NHL will see the lack of response and take note. Refs aren't going to help the Flames out this season, that's obvious. You either stand up as a team now, or just lay down and advertise to the other teams that the Flames have no push-back.

Looking forward to many hits and lots of crying from the wild. Cmon Flames, make the crappy drive from Edmonton worth it.

Nah, target Boudreau. Spear him on the bench when he's not looking. POS coach who has targetted Johnny in Anaheim and now again here.

They should just play Johnny B Goode as the goal song tonight just to be a bunch of trolls.
