This will be Bennett's coming out game, scoring 3 goals in 10 minutes while he gets to benefit from playing on a line superstars Stajan and Chiasson.
Who am I kidding. 4-1 Blue Jackets on 3 PP Blue Jackets goals and a short handed goal with the flames 0 for 6 on the powerplay on the newest David Cameron experiment.
Not only is this a 30th place cap team in the midst of a terrible executed rebuild, the highest draft pick in franchise history in his Draft+3....is a damn third line winger who isn't even deserving of power play time.
*facepalm*
Rock.
Bottom.

That has to be the worst PP unit we've had since pre-'04?
A winger with 31 points and only 8 goals in 118 games, our ex-1st line center who is currently at 0.31 ppg clip, a PTO and the worst defenseman in the NHL. I want to say poor Brodie but he hasn't been great either.
Tough times.
I don't really think we should be blaming Cameron at this point, that has to be the worst PP squad in the league, how can we blame them for being last? Even if you had Gaudreau and bumped Ferland out that still doesn't really help.
Columbus has been playing a scrappy, no give up style of hockey game this season. Extremely tough to play and they keep coming. More like the Flames of two years ago.

Take a break from this site your posts are more annoying than usual right now. So who are you blaming for Bennett being on the third line? Should Treliving passed on him? Is it Gulutzan?
Also your comments on this rebuild going so poorly are ridiculous. Seriously what did you expect? A team that had a weak prospect pool before they traded their captain and top Dman for peanuts is in year 4 of trying to turn things around.
The main move Treliving has made that I am upset with is Gulutzan as I feel he is a poor head coach. Doesn't seem like a guy that can push and motivate his players and probably better suited to be an assistant. Your dislike fornor management team doesn't make sense to me. Let me guess you thought Feaster did a good job?

Nope, rock bottom for me was over three years ago (ironically, a game against Columbus on March 22nd, 2013) where the Jackets scored three goals in just over a minute in the 2nd period in recording a 5-1 win over Calgary. Yeah, this edition of the Flames is not looking great right now, but they're a far cry from where they were on that day.
A reminder to viewers not in the Flames region, the Flames-BJs game is nationally televised on the Sportsnet West channel. The other regional channels are showing different national games. Shaw Cable subscribers in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario will see this game in SD only.

Will be interesting to see if they can win.
It pained me to listen to the Fan960 guys go on and on about what a great camp Tortarella ran....
