the standings are an illusion in the NHL. The only real benchmark for playoffs is 12 points per 10 games. if the flames lose tonight - they have to win 6 in a row just to get back to that pace - let alone have any cushion.
How so? So would every team below us than. Someone not in a playoff position is bound to bounce back in. The Flames are just as likely too this year as anyone else unless you feel like what we have on the ice is a finished product for the year.
Oh man we don't have another game til Thursday after this one. We'd better win.... because three days of breaking the Honda curse hype is WAY better than three days of bemoaning our horrid fate until the next game.
