Of course they were. Coming off a character win and the coach made changes. What does that say to the team? Has to be confusing. Leaves players wondering.

The continuing Grossmann experiment just shows how terrible of a coach Gulutzan is. The guy isn't good enough to even be playing in Stockton, yet we keep seeing him in the lineup.

Wow...I've always liked Loubo, but his rant on how good the coach is made my stomach turn just now.

What an ass kisser

That stunk. Didn't watch all of it, felt like I didn't need to after seeing the PP at the end of the game when the Kings probably no longer cared about shutting them down and we still couldn't enter the zone.

I can't believe Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan have been absent on the score sheet this long. And in general out on the ice. When is that monkey going to come off? So strange that not just one but both have been stymied. No real answers for much of this. Except for the powerplay. Half of that rests on Dave Cameron's shoulders.

That said, come out with a vengeance tomorrow and snag a win in the cursed building and tonight is much easier to forget. Please, please make this fan happy tomorrow.

Tough game to watch.

Gulutzan needs to stop trying to finesse the d-pairings versus specific teams. You can make the occasional minor adjustment when your team is playing really well. But trying to strategize against the other team when your team can't execute 1/10th of its game plan is pointless. Putting in Grossman to offset the Kings size would be ok if the Flames were playing well and if Grossman was a serviceable player. He's not.

Perhaps GG's biggest failing for me is exemplified in Johnny's struggles. Johnny's not playing well, no question. But if you're a coach and you see your star player trying to wind up an end-to-end rush every time he gets the puck... you need to do your job and reel them back in. A coach is there to show players the way, especially when their play makes it clear they need some guidance.

@NHLonNBCSports
Yes, in 2016: Setoguchi scores for Kings, Budaj shuts out Flames

Now NBC is poking fun

Gulutzan is all talk. He and Feaster would of made a good couple.

Only watched the first two periods and then gave up (I almost never do that....) but the Flames were just stinking the place out.

Thought Kulak was OK and Ferland was decent at the start, except for one giveaway.

Couldn't figure out why the lineup was changed unless GG wanted to ice the same lineup as in SJ in Anaheim (obviously without Versteeg). If Cameron is running the PP he needs to go.

And BT better be thinking long and hard about whether he made a dreadful mistake with GG. If he did, no point in prolonging the pain. Or maybe there is...just to make all the fans feel truly awful about our team. Sigh.

Frustrating to see the inconsistency this team shows, it's either good or really bad. Time to pick up the offence already, which was non existent in the game tonight. Gulutzan has a tough job ahead of him getting this team going. Give these lines from tonight a couple more games and then it's back to the drawing board and finding lines that work.

I get breaking up Johnny and Mony, need to get them going somehow, but why on earth would you #### with the D lines that got you a win yesterday?!?!? Stupid stupid coaching. I watched this game for a grand total of 20 minutes and saw Grossman get beat 3 times. Jokipakka should be playing every game, and if you HAVE to have Grossman in, it should be between him Wideman and Kulak

Gio-Brodie
Jokipakka - Hamilton
Engelland - Wideman/Grossman/Kulak

But honestly, it should be Kulak's spot permanently.

If they had a powerplay it would be a lot easier to stomach. Nope, had to hire a guy who got fired for a crappy PP.

Treliving has made some really bad decisions with his coaches. This is all on him.

Get grossmann off the team. Time to admit the mistake. Glue gun keeps dressing him, making it a double whammy.

We've got a coach and GM who think they're smarter than everyone else. It's ridiculous.

Should have dropped off Grossman in Stockton while the team was in San Jose. Now they have to pay for a flight to send him to the minors (assuming a 6 hour bus ride from LA is out of the question).

He is to close to the team on a personal level to be objective. It's a shame as he is making an ass of himself.

That's either the greatest autocorrect or the greatest insult to Gulutzan I've seen yet.
