Bennett needs some press box time. The first line needs to be completely redone. Monahan and Johnny stink too bad / separate their stink / Tree better start looking fast for a shakeup trade / Cameron should be fired tomorrow / and that's just for starters

Yup. If this team is going to right the ship, those two are gonna have to start earning their massive paychecks. I'd actually be ok with benching both of them for a game just to send a message.

#Flames have now allowed 26 goals in 2016-17- the 2nd most through the first 6 games of a season in franchise history (behind 1982-83's 31)

Best thing to come out of this game was that Dougie finally got benched (aside from his 60 seconds on the last pp) after the stinker that led to the Blues 5th.

He's played what? 20 games at centre?
Oh, he also had 2 assists tonight
Some of the player assessments around here are way off base.

Can anyone remember hearing a rationale as to why Gulutzan was the obvious choice after such an extensive search this summer? All I remember was hearing about the interview process, which is not really a reason.

Zero awareness. 6 seconds left on the powerplay. Shouldn't the bench be yelling or something? You can just see their breakdowns happening

He's already gotten three losses in a row once this season. He can do it again with just one more on Monday!

He was such a good "communicator" and all his former players loved him

Those 5 have been are most consistent players to start the season and until the top line shows up you can't keep going with them with the same results.

I don't know why that's not always the case. Who cares who your top players are supposed to be, play whoever is playing well. Over the course of the year, your top players should settle into their role as top players. Mix and match every single shift for all I care, as long as the best players are playing. If Backlund/Frolik is our best line then play them!.
