I'm very disappointed with this on-ice product. I haven't seen a Flames team this offensively challenged since the Young Guns/All Out Every Shift teams. In fact, those teams were better scorers.

Well Johnny, maybe if the time change and altitude are a problem for you, you might have signed 10 days ago and acclimatized during a camp designed to condition the team for the start of the regular season. Chrissakes.

Why not Backlund? Our best player on the ice.

Both teams look putrid. Wouldn't be surprised if both finish bottom 5 in league

These teams are soooo bad that they managed to even turn 3 on 3 and the shootout into a snoozefest.

Chad Johnson deserved a better fate. Kept us in the game and gave us a chance to win.

That's exactly what you do NOT do at this point. 3 games in? Gimme a break.

Montreal would like you to remember that the start of the season doesn't guarantee you a playoff spot.
Flames have a lot to work on, but I think we have good enough players that just need to fight through it.

Johnny hasn't been great however he gets hooked and slashed nearly every time he gets the puck. It's as if it happens so often the refs think they would have to hand out too many penalties so they don't want to call any. It's getting to the point where it's effecting the outcomes of games.
By far our best offensive player has been hooked on most of his best scoring chances this season. It's going to make it tough this season if it keeps up and it's already visibly bothering Johnny.

Versteeg must have scored a lot of shootout goals in the pre season. Weird decision.
