Guadreau isn't on that list though. Add him and you're at 13 (Personally I think they ought to carry 14F with Bollig and Hamilton being the spares)

I'm willing to admit I'm wrong about this, but I don't see what everyone else does in Kulak. His stride is awkward and choppy.
Wotherspoon wasn't flashy but he was calm and under control.
Eh, I trust Brad. Guess the 2011 draft won't be the best in team history after All.

Ha, I've obviously been living under a rock because I didn't know that Vey was with the Flames now. I need to pay more attention during the off-season/pre-season.

From what I have heard Kulak is a fairly decent skater.
Wotherspoon is a defensive type of a dman, Kulak can play defensive but has an offensive element as well.
Personally I would give the 6th dman spot to Kulak.
I would think Wideman would spent some time in the press box.

Generating points from the D is such a big part of this team everything else being equal Kulak fits better because of that.

The gift that is Tom Erixon has essentially wilted away. Hopefully Shinkaruk can stick around.

If the plan is to get to a final roster by Saturday (as, I believe Gulutzan has stated), the rest of the cuts must come from PTO's and the waiver exempt. Boo to Bollig.

2 right choices so far. I am wondering how Bollig is not on waivers? He has been the worst out of everybody. I get that he is going to be a pressbox player , but i would even rather have one of the PTO guys in that role over him. ( i'm not big on the PTO guys)

Cut cut cut. Say no to all of the PTO's and waive Bollig. Ferland and Hathaway can out play Bollig also as far as an enforcer both would be far more effective and cheaper. Ferland and Hathaway can at least both play minutes. Bollig is a problem out there.

Too bad Higgins and Grossman wasn't added to the list. Korpikoski is even borderline but at least he brings speed

I dont think you can 'waive' players on a PTO. Usually they're just released.
And at the moment they're filling out our 'Pre-Season Veteran' quota so they've still got a job to do.

If Brad doesn't sign any of the PTOs then he'll have enough to sign Johnny.

They're on PTO so they'll just be sent home. no waivers needed. Thanks for coming out guys, go ahead and keep the practice jerseys.

From my admittedly limited viewing, I think Korpikoski has played relatively well. I think he's shown he still has some NHL ability...if not here then somewhere else.

Super disappointed that the bubble players/PTO's didn't step up more. Hathaway was the only one that looked like he wanted to make the team. Shinkaruk and Kulak were ok
Wotherspoon, Vey, Grossman, Higgins, Korpikoski simply didn't even look hungry for what is their last chance to play in the NHL. There is nothing for any of them after this

I dissapointed that the PTOs didn't step up, yet they still might make the team.

Nothing has been released yet really ... PTOs haven't made the team, Wotherspoon and Vey haven't been sent down.
Why don't we wait and see what they've actually decided before being disappointed about anything?
