Good god, how can anyone suggest the best beach in Canada is on the Atlantic ocean? Our Atlantic Ocean beaches are so cold.

Sorry to offend you by liking a beach outside Manitoba.

The thread is best beaches, not warmest swimming holes.

Someone already mentioned it but Kinbrook Island at Newell Lake outside of Brooks is pretty nice. It is probably the best beach in southern Alberta.

Crescent beach(at low tide) is infinitely better than white rock.

I guess you haven't been to Cavandish, the beach is amazing, and the water isn't freezing.

I found the water at Grand beach to be dirty, it was warm and the sand lovely. That being said the sign telling me about the fecal concentration for that day was a bit off putting.

Near Calagry: Sylvan had no beach but the water is warm and shallow. Gull is similar but you can get blue green algae.

I am told Rochon Sands near Stettler is nice.

I haven't been to a Manitoba beach in over a decade. I think I was actually wrote quite glowingly of BC beaches in this very thread.... but hey screw me right?

I'm def spoiled... for me, 19 to 22 degree C water is cold. Ya, I'm a wuss. I like the warmer lakes of BC now. That being said, I love playing in the Ocean out there. I haven't been to PEI but I have been all around NS

The water was down a bit at Wabamun this weekend. Made my little beach at the cabin larger. Beats any public beach!
