The players as a whole are guaranteed to get an exact amount. How it is divided to the players should not be a concern for them.

Why are people attacking Monahan for not signing the contract? Have people never worked with a consultant or agent before, even a real estate agent?

You don't pay these people thousand of dollars just to ignore them and sign a lousy offer. That's beyond stupid. Make the agent earn their money and let them do their job.
