I feel kinda bad for the OP. He's all confident and telling us that he knows his stuff but people don't believe him...he goes to post proof and no one here believes him either.
Makes me curious what triggered him to think they were wolves. Delgar was there something about their look that made you think wolves?

There's a pterodactyl perched on top of my office building, and he's threatening my customers, especially the ones that are holding anything resembling a bag of food. Wildlife authorities not responding.
I'm going to be upset when he mistakes a small child for a baguette.

I don't think the OP will come back after all these posts.

Two thumbs up for this entire thread. Photos and all!
If Delgar is this adamant I tend to believe him, it's very obvious when you see a wolf, they're lankier and blacker usually. Like a husky on stilts. The top picture could be wolves, it's impossible to tell for sure.
I saw a wolf in Fish Creek and nobody believed me either, even though I've seen wolves in the mountains many times and hundreds of coyotes.

Sure you have....sure you have.....Care to share any pics?
In all seriousness though, there's still debate about whether wolves and coyotes are the same species, so it can be easy to confuse them. Some people think that Eastern and Red wolves are just hybrids of Grey Wolves and Coyotes.
haha these pictures aren't really helping the comparison for me. The differences are so minimal. How am I to judge what makes a snout broad or the ears rounded? without having the coyote there on the right for reference, if someone pointed out the wolf to me and said hey its ears are pointy and its snout narrow, that's how you know it's a coyote, I'd say sure.
anyway i have studied delgar's photos extensively and i have decided animal 1 is his pet cat, animal 2 is an armadillo and the little creature in the last pic is a raccoon.

In the two pictures I would have guessed the lone one a coyote based on size and shape, the two, they looked more like wolves but they were also quite small. None of these were the two I saw this morning however, the bigger one in the morning was a different colour, had a brownish/reddish tinge and was, I think, far too big to be a coyote.
I may well have been wrong on identifying them as wolves, if the big one comes back I'll be sure to take a pic and post even if it leads to the potential of further ridicule. Enjoy @$$holes!
