CPS has got to be looking hard at the Dad. Hopefully they find the little girl soon.

i keep checking back for updates... this has me extremely anxious and saddened. I hope there is a sliver of a happy ending by finding Taliyah safe.

We were at Southcentre this morning and saw a bunch of police cruisers tearing around the parking lots with their lights on at full speed. I was crossing everything I had that someone had seen her in the mall. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.

I wouldn't be surprised if the father is a suspect, especially with his past regarding domestiv violence towards Sara. I know he is cooperating with police but what the cops say to the public is not always accurate as they don't want to reveal who they have as persons of interest. This happens all the time so it gives the individual a false sense of security.
But would seem odd that if he is co operating, that Taliyah hasn't been located yet.

Official update to Amber Alert text as of 4:29 pm, only difference is:
CCTV footage obtained by investigators shows she may be wearing pink or red boots with white polka dots and carrying a reddish colored suitcase.
Update just sent to mobile devices at 4:34.

Because nothing in any Dairy Queen has been updated since the early 90s. Including, it seems, the security cameras.

The images are good enough that whoever it was that spoke with her would easily be able to know it was them...I found them easier to view here:

Completely true. Reminded me right away of this:

This GoFundMe fund raiser is for Sara Baillie’s family during this time for costs towards a beautiful celebration of Sara Baillie’s life, any legal costs to get JUSTICE for Sara Baillie, exhausting any and all options for finding Taliyah and most importantly a Trust Fund for Taliyah when she is found and brought home safely to her family. This little girl is going to be devastated when she finds out her world/Mother Sara Baillie has been taken from her. It takes a village to raise a child and she will need us all!

That's bullcrap they could have a key break in the case but instead because of their garbage equipment that they are to cheap to update the police have this crap to work with

I have a feeling the child is alive. Just my gut feeling but also based on the fact that the amber alert is still active and that the police had the family do the press conference.
I think the murder may have been premeditated rather than a spur of the moment crime of passion. If it was spur of the moment then its likely that text messages, phone calls, or other social media communication would point the police at a likely suspect. It seems that is not the case based on what police have revealed so far. I know that we dont know everything the police know but based on their approach it doesnt seem they know the identity of persons of interest. It would be likely that there would be more clues or evidence that the pilice would have to go on. It really seems the police sont have much.
I hope we have good news overnight.

Taliya's godmother said the family and police have a suspect in mind. The father refused to go on camera. Hate to jump to conclusions but wouldn't surprise me if it was him.

Would I be shocked it was him? Not at all, given the POs and the recent dispute over child support. But, I also remember the Blairmore situation with people saying the mom did it/arranged it, which turned out not to be the case, so one tries to remain neutral until the police announce charges. Horrible situation and I sincerely hope it's resolved soon and the outcome is positive for that child, though what she'd come home to face will be devastating.

Possible luggage she was seen with and clothes? should keep on eye out for sure.
Wonder if this was taken before the murder and after DQ.

Was just thinking that with the number of people who have dash cams these days the police should be asking for anyone who was in the area to review their footage. Someone could have drove by them and not even known.

Nathan O'Brien's amber alert 2 years ago was not cancelled until remains were confirmed, I'd expect CPS will be operating under a similar protocol here.
