Not sure if he reads here, but wanted to say I really appreciate him doing it. I'm one of those people he speaks to when he says there are some who crave hockey talk 12 months a year. That and any option other than the Fan960 is sorely needed and welcome by me.

That might be the biggest backhanded compliment I've seen.
Minimal personality, speech abnormality? What does that have to so with anything.

Sound quality is a lot better. Great show once again.
The music was quite loud compared to the speaking, but that's okay. Rob Kerr was great.

Quality is good, but you nailed it, the music/vocal audio mix was way off. I had to turn my car stereo up to 30 to listen to them talk and when the music played, it almost blew my speakers.

Rob Kerr pulls no punches trashing the goaltending last season haha.
"What's Russell's sv% I wonder?"
"Probably still better than Jonas Hiller."

Good podcast so far, but they need to stop talking to the guy (Francis?) who doesn't have a mike.
Edit: Or maybe that is Darren and his mike isn't working?
Edit2: Never mind, just realized that Darren is only coming through on the right speaker of my head phones and I only had the left headphone on.

Yeah, Kerr is mixed on the left channel and Haynes comes through on the right. Come to think of it, maybe that's why the music is so loud, as it comes out all channels.

Interesting that Kerr alluded to some off ice issues with Poirer last year that weren't serious but red flags still. Had not heard anything like that before

Yeah the music was mixed about twice as loud as Haynes/Kerr. I didn't mind the stereo mix on my desktop speakers, but I can see why someone using headphones might have minded it.

Didn't sound like "red flags" to me. He even mentioned they were just normal growing up things. Could be anything from diet, to rest, to having to clean the house by yourself who knows.

Really? a Yeti? Not a bad mic and Blu is a good company. I have a couple blu mics and they are amazing but the Yeti is a usb mic. Too much static in a usb mic. Then Rob brings up Behringer lol. Cheap crappy mics.
