Well, Flames didn't qualify what, 9 guys? Need some bodies to fill the farm team. Decent AHL point producer, good hockey sense and work ethic. No problems with this at all. Cost, free vs a 2nd round pick. Stupid Canucks

Wow, I didn't realize how close Jooris and Vey were in so many categories. So, if nothing else, the Flames basically get the same player who's a year younger.

Close in a lot of categories but I would say they play different styles (banger vs playmaker).

The Heat had a lot of their roster depleted when Agostino, Grant, etc walked, so I'm glad we brought in help. Plus Vey showed some promise for the Kings. Who knows, maybe with some of that drama behind him he's ready to get back into it

For what this kid has had to endure over the last few years, and watching Canucks fans about face once they heard his story, I highly doubt it.
Really, people just need to let this kid be and let the brass take care of his career path.
