I really, really hope something. I would like to spend eternity with my family. That would be sweet.

Deep down, though, I have grave doubts about there being anything at all.

cease to exist, and in my case will get stuck in a huge oven and physical body turned to dust.
I hate the though of being buried even when Im dead.

My latest thought is that as the electrical transmission in the brain slows your experience of the passage of time in the brain slows with it so your are conscious for what in your perception will feel like eternity. But this would be a semi lucid dream like consciousness that people talk about on near death experiences. A constant dream state forever.

Kind of like approaching the speed of light.

I think that once I die that is it. Game over.
That said the option for another dimension intrigues me as I was doing some reading last week on how they are seeing signs that other dimensions may exist. That would be cool, die in this one and then it is a combo of reincarnation and moving to another dimension.

I believe for the last few generations , people have stopped asking important questions about our existence. Like, Why am I here? Where am I going? and How do I get there?
You are being held accountable: you are what you do, and your actions continually impact the lives of those around you.

Why do you feel the need to be judged? And why would said judge (who assumedly, can create universes) care one tick how you behaved during your one, infinitesimal spin through the cosmos?

And if "life can't be just this", what does that mean for all the other animals? Are humans more important? Do the other animals get to come back as humans at some point? Are they here just to make life more interesting for humans?

I am not trying to attack you here, I am merely asking questions that I believe follow from what you have stated and asked. I am genuinely curious.

You spend a lot of time with strippers when they are not on stage? There has to be a story here.

I wouldn't say I believe in anything, but I keep my mind open to any possibility. The ideas of transcendence between dimensions does intrigue me though. That said, I try to live under the assumption that I have about 80 years to do some interesting things and that's it.

As far as fearing death. No, not really. As said above, I more fear any regret for not having tried something I wanted to do, or could have done. If there's anything I fear about death, it's probably just any physical pain that goes along with it.

Of course, if you don't fear death, then what is the point of being alive except to lapse into hobby after hobby? One day an investment banker, the next a film student.

Not sure what one really has to do with the other, other than the idea of just trying to be happy for the short time that you're here. Whatever that means for you personally.

I'd like to think we'd hop over to another dimension and continue on with things none the wiser, it'll be like a afterlife CP.

Having recently lost my Dad, I have been really thinking about this. I am not overally religious and have never really believed in "sprits and ghosts" .

However with my dads passing I am starting to thing there is something to this spirit thing. My freezer broke two days after his death, my wife said a prayer to him and bam it works again. This is likely to do us empting the freezer and it resetting but still weird.

About 3 weeks ago my son found an old jersey we was looking for a few months. It was in with the Christmas decorations. I asked him how he found it, he said "Papa" told him.

My daughter says she talks to Papa a lot when she is upset.

My parents favorite place was Radium but were unable to go due to his health in recent years. Last week, we decided we would go this summer, found out a team mate of my son's soccer team has a place there and will let us have it for free for a week.

I am sure these are all coincidence but I can't help think it was to do with my dad's spirit.

That's nice and sorry for your loss.

My favourite dreams are ones where I get to hang out with my dad again. I always wake up so happy from those.

I'm pretty sure it's 72 vegans.

A long dial tone sound while the life force / energy leaves the body then it will be like someone hung up the phone. Silence. Nothing.

Or maybe just an eternal dial tone .....

That is an interesting angle that I don't think I have ever heard before.

Undecided. Logic seems to point to nothing but only one way to find out and no one who has is saying.
