100% agree with all this.

And make sure you go to Salty's. And a really good brewery/pizza place called Bad Tattoo.

Thanks for the suggestion!

However, I checked last night and apparently they are already booked up...

The coast isn't bad at all and it's very close. I have my dog coming with me so I staying at the sahara. It's a dive but the pool/bbq area isn't bad and it's a block and a half away.

Decided to take my wife and kid to Penticton for the entire month of September. Just booked a house on airBnB that is about 3 blocks from the arena. So stoked!!!!

Kelowna is about 10% as good as Penticton.

Another place I've stayed before is the Black Sea Motel. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the rink and it's in a good location on the water. I just checked and there's two rooms left via Booking.com.

I'll be there - section 108, row 8.

We booked the hotel as soon as Winnipeg announced the dates because last year we ended up in Kelowna. Got into the Coast this year.

Last year on the South Okanagan events centre site you could actually pick your tickets from a seating chart. It doesn't look like you can do that this year. Just seems to give you a choice of price levels and then picks your seats automatically. I hate that because it kept choosing row 1 for me and I don't want to be that low.

Just bought tickets for me and my dad and booked a hotel. Super excited to go to Penticton for this event! Heard it's beautiful out there, never been before.

Section 110 Row 1

Just wondering what hotel you booked? Cause I noticed they are all filling up rather quickly.

Riverside Motel. Rooms looks decent. We got a room with two queen beds with a Kitchenette and there is a pool. After we booked yesterday it said there was 4 rooms left. Decently priced too.

Also is only a 10-15 minute walk from the Venue so location is good.

Never gone, would love to and honestly the $275 VIP package seems like pretty good value.

The buffet is average... not to mention there's a lot of great places in town to eat. I think it's a convent choice, but you may regret missing on all the choices penticton has to offer.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but the Tiki shores motel just went through some renovations. Right across from the Beach. A few blocks from the arena.
