I still like them, but I thought the 2004 ones were much better. Retros are my favorite obviously.

All better than Calgary IMO. Anaheim would be too if they would just put their old logo on it.
It's a shame. One of the best logos, and so much potential.

What do you think of the Flames' current jerseys?
I've always hated the flaming C, and I lived in Calgary in1980 when they arrived. The font looks like a child's textbook. I'd welcome a redesigned logo.

^ yikes... can't imagine that'll be a popular opinion around these parts.
I voted league's worst jersey, but then I was reminded of a couple bad ones like Carolina, which looks like they went to Canadian Tire and rounded up a few old Team Canada uniforms and then just slapped on their logo, or Ottawa's, which was awesome if they just had their original designs when they entered the league in 1992 but then was horribad when they went to the slightly turned face guy logo and nonsensical triangle red black design.
Anyway, Calgary's is terrible. So bottom 5 for me, probably 3rd worst in the NHL.

For me they're bottom half for sure, argument could easily be made for bottom ten.
So much potential too which makes it extra disappointing

What do you think of the Flames' current jerseys?
Logo aside, I'd call the jersey more mediocre than terrible. I barely notice it so it doesn't offend me, but it sure doesn't get me excited either.

They have the perfect jersey in the arsenal and they refuse to just use it full time.

The problem with the current jerseys is that they are too busy. Too many stripes and pipes and other nonsense.
And honestly, the red retros don't look half as good as the white retros, which we'll never use because it demolishes the unified C of Red motif.
The best jerseys we ever wore were the V-striped ones from 2003-04 to 2006-07. Reebok can eat a bag of dicks for coming on board and ruining it all.

Yeah I would imagine of you polled fans around the league the Flames jerseys would be middle of the pack or bottom half. We have seen plenty of terrible NHL jerseys over the years and the Flames current digs are not terrible. Mediocre but not terrible.

I always liked the Flame snouted Horse alternate...but, the riff on the old Atlanta Jersey, with a Flaming C instead of a Flaming A, just lacked imagination, I voted middle...I would have come up with a more locally significant team nickname...(as a Chicagoan, living in Utah, I ridicule Jazz fans, pointing of that the NBA team would be more appropriately named, if it honored the Music of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, rather than the Franchise's New Orleans roots!)
What can I say, though? My team has a classic jersey/logo that is always highly rated...and I think that the Greasers should PERMANENTLY return their "Robosperm" logo as their #1 jersey!

Horrible. Bottom five in the league. There are some incredible designs in the jersey thread.
I really just wish they would do something similar to the vintage threads for their home and away jerseys (Like what Edmonton did). After that, feel free to play around with the third, make it black, a word mark, a fire breathing horse, I really don't care.
Use it randomly but the regular home and away set needs to be altered, currently its horrible.

The third jersey has really grown on me. I'm still not a fan of the logo, but I do really like the black shoulders, and the cleaner look vs. the regular home. Love the white away jerseys too.

Does anyone know the answer on what is holding the Flames up from coming out with new uniforms? The longer it goes on, the more puzzled I get.

The fact that 40% seem to hate the jerseys says a lot. Hopefully they get it right next time.

Whilst I accept it is time for a change, I still like the main logo. A more modern and designer look that incorporates the same flaming C would get my vote.
Incidentally, I happened to be in the Fan Attic store yesterday and was surprised to see all the 3rd jersey's were half price. Did I miss something? Is the 3rd jersey being reitred early?

I would assume they are waiting until the 2017-18 season when Adidas starts to make the jerseys.

They're ok. Would love it if we made the retros our full-time jerseys.
