Former Oiler first round pick with a wicked poke check on a former Oiler first round pick.
Don't give up hope, Connor. You see, it's not the end of the world.

Wow, nice snipe from Spezza.
Dallas has the worst goal song in the NHL. "DALLAS! STARS! DALLAS! STARS!"

It's actually bad ass, being a custom song by Pantera. The guitar just doesn't translate super well over the crowd noise.

These games have been a lot more intense than last night's. Though I haven't seen much of Dallas/Minny.

Eaves scores from Spezza and Benn on the power play, 3-0 Stars.
Two goals in forty seconds in the California game, 2-2 now. Kings tied it on the power play.

That goal challenge by the Wild is why I think it should be a delay of game penalty if you lose a challenge, rather than just a lost timeout. A total waste of time that they had no chance of winning.

Great game. The Kings score a shorthanded goal to take the lead. That should have deflated the Sharks as most shorthanded goals do. The opposite happens with the Sharks replying soon after to tie it. Pavelski's goal, which is the game winner, just 17 seconds into the third period was the play of the night.
